About the exhibition
McLeavey Gallery presents Mōhio, an exhibition of new works by Darryn George.
Darryn George is a Christchurch born artist, who has been painting since the early 1990's. His journey began at Ilam, he went onto develop a unique visual language that synthesised elements of his interest in international abstraction, with his Christian faith and his fascination with Māori meeting house design. Darryn's latest show Mōhio is a fusion of these three elements.
