Two large-scale paintings by Christina Pataialii, painted for the New Museum triennial in New York, have returned home and are exhibited at McLeavey Gallery for one week only.
Christina was the only Aotearoa artist, out of 40+ artists selected globally, to participate in the triennial – Soft Water Hard Stone. In its fifth edition, the triennial is the only recurring international exhibition devoted to early-career artists and it is a huge achievement to be included.
