New paintings and fresh thoughts from Christina Pataialii's studio – looser experimentations, some cooler in tone, some sharper in tone. Embracing play and experimentation, Christina revisits house paint colours from her youth, finding novel ways to work with them. Part of her ongoing search to find new ways to look at painting, fragments from her exhibition at Tauranga Art gallery have been reworked and included – cut up, re-stretched and re-contextualised.
